This Beautiful wall pocket is water tight for use as a vase, or perfect for multiple uses, such as a dried flowers or twigs, a toothbrush holder, or storage container for artist bushes, incense, etc. Vintage lace was used to make the pattern. The glazed red flower centres stand out against the black and white coloring of the vase.
This piece was inspired from day-long visit a local koi sanctuary. I found the fish moved together in a rather musical fashion, while listening to Big Band and Jazz music,I intuitively incorporated the colours of the water as well as the musical notations.
